Qatar 2022 World Cup: Ticket office now available

Tickets for the World Cup are available from Wednesday, January 19

FIFA continues with the preparations for the most important sporting event on the planet and has already opened the ticket office.

As indicated in the FIFA calendar, the opening of ticket sales for the 2022 Qatar World Cup began this Wednesday, January 19. Less than a year before the start of the World Cup, the box office of the most anticipated competition in the field of football opens.

FIFA informed that those interested in buying tickets in its first package of World Cup matches will have until February 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. (Doha time) to submit applications to purchase their tickets in Qatar.

People who do so will have to wait until March 8 to find out if their application has been approved.

Tickets for sale for the Qatar 2022 game have 3 stages : by draw, by order of arrival and last minute purchases.

- 1st phase : from January 19 to February 8, 2022 (5:00 am ET / 2:00 am PT). Tickets will be designated by lottery on April 1, 2022.

- 2nd phase : begins after the draw for the first phase, the criterion of arrival order will be used.

- 3rd phase: last minute sales: it does not have a fixed date. This stage will allow the purchase of important matches, including the final.

Ticket prices

There are three options to buy tickets for the World Cup:

- Individual matches: can cost from $250 for the first phase, up to $800, depending on the location. In the single elimination stage, they cost from $300 to $3,480 in the semi-finals.

- Series of matches of a certain selection : it can cost between $825 up to $2,640 for the 3 first phase matches. And a range of $5,885 to $15,000, including all seven games and the final.

- Packages of up to four matches at a given venue : their value is between $1,000 and up to $4,650, depending on the combination of matches you choose.
