United States issues the first passport identifying gender X
The United States issued the first passport identifying gender X, still pursuing various gender policies to increase.
The United States Department of State announced last June that it was updating all its procedures, so that every applicant can decide which gender to put on the passport marker, and it will not be necessary to show medical certification in case the applicant does not match the gender that I mark in the passport.
The Department allowed the increase of a gender mark X, for all intersex and gender non-conforming people.

The State Department announced its commitment to the issuance of this gender X passport, with the simple objective that each citizen can have the freedom, equality and dignity that every human being equally deserves.
This option with the new marker in the passport will be applied to routine passport applicants, after the updates and forms have been completed, which will be updated by early 2022.
Those in charge of the human rights of transgender people have long said that having a misidentification with gender could lead to sexual discrimination, harassment and violence in society.
America wants to end gender-based discrimination and violence
The State Department said when it recognized Intersex Awareness Day, that it was one of its policies to put an end to violence and gender discrimination in the country and to be able to passively carry each person's sexual orientation and identity.
Countries in which the passport with gender X is also valid
Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other countries that also have policies in place with similar passports.
Almost 20 states and Washington have issued similar changes to documentation.
