New York public workers refuse to be vaccinated against covid
The mobilization was carried out from Brooklyn to Manhattan
New York public employees assured that they are not opposed to vaccines to combat the Coronavirus, but to the mandate that limits the option of being able to choose how and when to get vaccinated.
The annoyance of public workers began after they received an email notifying them that they would lose their jobs if on February 11 of this year they did not have the respective doses against covid.
According to the statements of some of the protesters, another of the reasons that prevents compliance with the regulations is due to health or religious problems, while others allege that some vaccines do not have the corresponding tests to be applied.

Another sector that could be affected by the “anti-vaccine” movement is the school sector, due to the fact that a significant number of teachers refuse to comply with the mandatory inoculation.
Such is the case of Ingrid Romero, who assured that “the vaccinated get sick all the time and that they are always notified that there is a new case”, for which she sees it as irrelevant to comply with the vaccination system.
It will not be until today, February 11, when the more than 4,000 public employees will know if they will be able to continue working normally or if, on the contrary, they will be fired, despite the fact that many have years of seniority in their jobs.
It is relevant to remember that on December 27, 2021, the mandate that requires private sector workers to have coronavirus vaccines came into force. Therefore, you cannot enter the cinema, theater or restaurant without the vaccination certificate.
In this way, an attempt is made to curb the number of deaths in New York, since, at the beginning of the pandemic, it was one of the towns with the most fatalities.
