Neurofibromatosis
What is neurofibromatosis about? It is a genetic disorder of the nervous system which affects the way in which cells grow and form and this causes the growth of tumors in the nerves.
In general, the tumors created are benign, but can sometimes become cancer.
This disease can be inherited from the parents or it can occur due to a mutation or change in the genes.
Doctors have the ability to diagnose this disease based on the symptoms. Although genetic tests are used to diagnose two classes of this disease. For this disease there is no cure and treatment can help control the symptoms.
