Fox News Cameraman, Producer Killed in Ukraine After Russian Attack
The 24-year-old Ukrainian journalist, Oleksandra Kuvshinova, who worked as a producer for the American network, also died during the attack.
A few days ago, the death of the cameraman for the American network, Fox News, Pierre Zakrzewski, who had been in Ukraine since the beginning of February covering the Russian invasion, was known.
The 52-year-old man was with his partner Benjamin Hill and the 24-year-old Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra Kuvshinova, collecting information on the outskirts of Kiev, when the car they were traveling in was shot several times.
Through a statement, the CEO of Fox News, Suzanne Scott, reported that Zakrzewski died in Horenka, " It is with great sadness and regret that we share the news of the death this morning of our beloved cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski."
In addition, in the text he rescued Pierre's talent as a journalist and the passion with which he carried out his work. “Today is a heartbreaking day for our chain and to all the reporters who risk their lives to break the news,” added Scott.
Likewise, he indicated that Hall was injured during the attack, for which he is hospitalized in a health center in Ukraine.
For his part, the adviser to the Ukrainian interior minister, Anton Gerashchenko, confirmed that the Ukrainian journalist Kuvshinova, who worked as a producer for the American television network, also died in the shooting.
It should be noted that Zakrzewski was a veteran war reporter who had covered different war conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.

The Human Rights Commissioner of the Ukrainian Parliament, Liudmyla Denisova, has blamed the deaths on the Russian troops and indicated that they register at least five journalists killed during the conflict.
Kuvshinova and Zakrzewski join the list of communication professionals who died in Ukraine, including the cameraman for the Ukrainian channel, Yevhen Sakun, who died after the missile attacks in Kiev, as well as the Ukrainian correspondent and military officer, Viktor Dudar, fallen in fighting near the city of Mykolaiv.
Also on the list is the American journalist Brent Renaud, who died just three days ago when he was in Irpin, where he was going to interview Ukrainian refugees. During the same attack, the photographer of Colombian origin, Juan Arredondo, was also injured.
