Angelina Jolie is sued by Brad Pitt for deciding to sell the estate where they were married
The actress signed an agreement in which Pitt is prevented from enjoying the mansion made up of 35 rooms
Actor Bradi Pitt has decided to sue Angelina Jolie, after the actress proceeded to illegally sell the property acquired by the two in Correns, France, in 2008.
The estate called Château Miraval was the place where they both celebrated their wedding in 2014. The Hollywood actors had promised not to sell it.
Pitt had worked for a long time so that the vineyard located within the property would be one of the most important producers of rosé wine in the world.
In the lawsuit filed by Brad Pitt, he points out that Angelina Jolie sold her part of the estate to Yuri Shefler, a Russian businessman, without previously notifying him, so she did not have his consent to carry out this commercial transaction.
He also added that, in 2013, Jolie had stopped investing in the vineyard, so Pitt had to assume 70% of the financing of the project.
As the Page Six insider insists, Jolie is only hoping to hurt Pitt, the business's biggest investor, and is seeking to seize unearned profits and a return on an investment she never made.
A source pointed out that Jolie made this sale with the intention that the Russian businessman, together with his partners, would take charge of dominating the business to which Pitt had dedicated a lot of time and thus destroy the investment he made in Miraval.
In October 2021, it was the year in which said sale would apparently take place.
The information greatly surprised Pitt, learning that part of his multi-million dollar business was acquired by a subsidiary of Yuri Shefler's Stoli Group, called Tenute del Mondo.
