In 2017, a particular cloud was created that covered Europe, after this event 69 scientists from different countries were part of an investigation that was carried out in order to establish and clarify the reason for this phenomenon.

This research was called "Concentration in air and chemical considerations of radioactive ruthenium from a large undeclared emission in 2017".

To carry out this research, they had to undertake the task of compiling data from 176 stations located in 29 countries. This was done because after the fact no one took responsibility for what happened and no one did anything to find out where it came from.

After a rigorous study of data made and different versions, the first results of the investigation are obtained, which shows the great possibility that the Russian plant that is located in Mayak dedicated to nuclear processing, must have been involved in the phenomenon.

The cloud that at that time caused great intrigue both for the inhabitants of the places where it was present and for its scientists, spent almost two days in the area and continued with its displacement. They claim that it was not dangerous to human health because its levels of radioactivity were low.

Even though the data released and the respective investigation, the Russians deny that it came from Mayak. A Russian state company litigated the results of the investigation.

It is admitted in Moscow that high concentrations of this isotope were recorded, but that no incident occurred at the Mayak nuclear plant, they also say that it could be that a satellite disintegrated and produced the cloud, but scientists discard this theory of the Russians.
