Victoria and David Beckham make significant donation to Ukrainian victims

The couple was in charge of facilitating a new economic aid fund for the victims of the war.

Former soccer player David Beckham took the initiative to make a millionaire donation to the citizens of Ukraine, who have been affected by the Russian invasion.

David carried out this act fulfilling the role of goodwill ambassador of the United Nations organization that is in charge of caring for the safety and well-being of children, Unicef.

The parents of four little ones encouraged their followers to contribute help to the emergency account, depending on the possibilities of each one. In addition, they also joined the contribution.

In the message that the former soccer player notified what he would be doing, he explained that he has been following the situation and has seen that mothers are forced to flee with their children.

The former Real Madrid player also pointed out that he felt imposing when he saw the scenes of despair while he was with his family in an environment of complete security.

Although they have not detailed the exact amount of their donation, they have been the ones who started the donation process.

This money will be used for specific tasks, among them are:

• Creation of comfortable spaces for children on all transit routes

• Supplies such as personal hygiene kits, blankets, clothing, water, coats

• Creation of first aid kits for health workers

• Mobile teams to provide psychosocial care to children with chronic insecurity trauma

• School supplies for children who can continue their learning

On International Women's Day, the model also applauded the courage of the mothers who have saved their children.

The mothers continue to search for protection, despite the bombs that continue to fall in the humanitarian corridors, and all the logistical problems faced by those seeking to leave this country.
