Attack on the Mona Lisa: A visitor threw a cake at the world's most famous painting
The reasons are unknown, it could only be observed that a visitor to the Louvre tried to break the glass that preserves and protects the Mona Lisa, with a cake.
The famous painting suffered an unexpected attack this Sunday, at the hands of one of the visitors to the art gallery.
Apparently, he was just trying to show a climate-related protest, so he threw a cake at the painting, in front of those present in the room, who did not miss the opportunity to make it viral on social networks.
The attacker was disguised as an old woman, and jumped out of a wheelchair before attacking the glass.
In a video that can be seen, the author proceeded to spread cake on the glass, and then threw roses everywhere, before being evacuated by security agents.
Despite the fact that the attacker was arrested and expelled, the images had already been recorded by dozens of visitors. Fortunately, the oil did not suffer any harm, and the glass was able to protect La Gioconda.
