The band Piso 21 presents their new song called "Killed my heart"
With just a few weeks to celebrate Christmas, "Piso 21" made the decision to advance its gift for these dates, which is made with a lot of feeling, humor and a style never seen before, which is causing a great impact through the media.
"Killed My Heart" is the title of this new single, in which the band took the incredible idea of leaving the urban genre, to now impeccably consolidate pop with touches of rock.
It consists of a rather catchy letter that conveys a feeling with a sad and melancholic background.
In this sense, the artists wanted to represent the suffering that a person feels when being deluded by someone who only hurt them sentimentally.
El Profe, Pablito, Dim and Lorduy needed to compose a letter to pain, and they got together in the studio, with the famous Venezuelan producer Eydren. Indeed, they managed to connect all the pieces with the producer, and he understood perfectly what Piso 21 needed to communicate.
What is the reason for the gender change?
Normally we have seen Piso 21 interpreting authentic anthems that have the rhythm of reggaetón accompanied by excellent tracks and very striking melodies, this has always been the style of the band since its beginning in its artistic career.
However, the record label of the Colombian band proposed to the artists the idea of making a song with a different tonality that reflects new feelings and will connect with another type of public to expand.
This seemed like an excellent idea to the band, and they decided to compose the song “Mató mi Corazón” that was made in Colombian lands.
Betting on an alternative sound and, at the same time, it shows that the band does not seek to be pigeonholed into a single musical style, that beyond staying in their comfort zone, they need to improve with each new delivery.
In order to increase its number of followers and live the experience of entering a new musical genre.
“Mato mi Corazón” will be part of Piso 21's new album
The song "Mató mi Corazón" is also emerging as one of the melodies that will be essential for Piso 21's new record creation.
