Vikings: Valhalla has a release date

The next February 25 will already be available on Netflix

The most anticipated premiere of 2022

The spin-off of the series by Michael Hirst is possibly the most anticipated premiere of 2022. It will show eight episodes in its first season.

Almost a year after the end of Vikings, the remarkable series made by Michael Hirst and starring Travis Fimmel, in the acclaimed role of Ragnar Lothbrok, we have not yet been able to enjoy its long-awaited continuation on Netflix, although we already have a date to lighten the time waiting.

According to the Netflix platform, the substitute for History's fiction, Vikings: Valhalla, will be released on February 25, 2022.

What can we see in this spin-off?

The series began with the follow-up to the surprising Ragnar Lothbrok in his rise to king of Scandinavia and his consequent inheritance. In our new plot, Valhalla we will meet another time of Nordic heroes and another story, set approximately 100 years after the original events.

Valhalla will be told from the point of view of a group of Vikings who have ruled the vast majority of kingdoms in England and have guaranteed rule over Normandy.

In the play we will be able to follow the history of historical characters who really existed and whose stories, similar to those of Lothbrok, will be adjusted for the series that now belongs to Netflix.

Freydis Eiríksdóttir, Harald III of Norway, Leif Erikson and William I of England, who has Viking descent, with a part of the characters that appear in this new series, and in which Michael Hirst, who is the creator of the original version, returns as 'showrunner'.

The main cast of Vikings: Valhalla consists of Sam Corlett, Leo Suter, Frida Gustavsson, Johannes Haukur Johannesson, Bradley Freegard, Laura Berlin, Caroline Henderson, David Oakes, Asbjorn Krogh Nissen, Pollyanna McIntosh, among many others.

The expectations are enormous from the large number of fans around the world who fell in love with the History series, and this new series has everything to be the ideal replacement.

"These three adventurers embark on an epic journey that will take them across oceans and battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond, as they fight for survival and glory", this is how they describe the plot of one of the series most expected from 2022.
