Russia with more than 40,000 new infections and 1,100 deaths from Covid-19 in the last hours
Russia is once again being affected by the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, where in the last day they have registered a new maximum record of 40,251 positive cases of coronavirus and have also confirmed a total of 1,160 associated deaths.
All this has been reported this Saturday by the national operational center for the fight against Covid-19. So far, the total number of infections reaches 8.47 million after adding the last infected with this disease.
Most of the new infected are in Moscow with 7,267, followed by St. Petersburg with 3.57 and then the province of Moscow with 2,680. While the total of deaths from the pandemic is already 237,380 people since the disease was known in that country.
According to data collected by the Official Russian News Agency Sputnik. The Government of Russia has approved since last week a period of paid holidays for all non-essential workers in the country, which are from October 30 to November 7 to try to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
