The Marvel calendar 2021-2022
It was recently announced that Disney was delaying 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 films and Indiana Jones 5. However, for next November 5 it will be released in the Eternals cinemas and on December 17 the long-awaited Spider-man: No Way Home will be released.
After the premiere of these two great movies that has fans on their minds and eager to see it now, there was a change in the dates of the following films. Which represents a delay in the schedule that Marvel had envisioned.
Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of the Madness, the sequel to Dr. Strange, which includes Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen, will be released on May 6, 2022.
This date was set for the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder. So, the Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman movie was moved to July 8, 2022.
Regarding Black Panther: Wakanda Forever It also underwent a change in its release date, now it will premiere on November 11, 2022. The Marvels, which is the sequel to Captain Marvel, have moved its release date to February 17, 2023.
Another change in the Marvel calendar was suffered by Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the third installment where the actor Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly stars, its release date was moved to July 28, 2023.
On the other hand, Disney also removed two films from the Marvel Calendar that did not yet have a title, but had a release date of July 28, 2023 and October 6, 2023 respectively.
Three other films that were also untitled were also pushed back to November 3, 2023.
Marvel's calendar has not been the only one affected by the release dates of its films. The movie Indiana Jones 5, which includes the return of veteran actor Harrison Ford, also had changes in its release date for June 30, 2023.
Mr. Kevin Feige, the stellar President of Marvel Studios made comments at the premiere of Eternals, that these were production changes, and that since there were too many dates, these could be changed.
