BLACKPINK Fans Demand Their Group Music Comeback

The society of fans of the famous K-pop band better known as BLINK, recently began to appear through social networks to demand the group's return after 15 months without releasing group music.

All this controversy detonated because the band had already scheduled a date to make their official comeback, however, 3 days ago the artists mentioned that it is most likely that their return to music as a band will be delayed.

This caused all their followers, who are eagerly awaiting them, to end up demanding their next return desperately via Twitter.

BLINK came out on January 10 on his Instagram and Twitter accounts to talk about the postponement of BLACKPINK's expected comeback.

In their statement they talked about the band's management agency YG Entertainment, and mentioned that it was quite negligent about these kinds of errors and delays that it is not the first time that they have happened.

Obviously, millions of people are quite outraged and a little upset by this unforeseen event, since it is one of the most recognized K-pop groups in the world. BLINK mentioned in their statement that "the group has not made a group EP for more than 15 months."

This period of time is quite long for any artist, especially for a K-pop group who usually release EPs in periods of 4-5 months.

Although BLACKPINK's loyal fans are angry about their wait, they claim that YG Entertainment is to blame, since they are the girlband's representatives.

YG entertainment is the largest K-pop agency in the world, the best Korean artists and bands are signed by this agency.

BLINK mentioned in one of their tweets that the agency didn't mind keeping them waiting in order to debut a new group of artists. Since, it would represent more profits to sign new artists.

This is the second time that the BLACKPINK agency delayed this comeback, since the first occasion was scheduled for July 14, 2021, however, weeks before the scheduled date they made a statement mentioning that they would postpone it for the beginning from 2022.

Despite all this, they once again postponed the expected comeback of the famous South Korean group. The only thing YG Entertainment mentioned was: "So far BLACKPINK will not be able to launch their EP, since the group's itinerary has been hectic and full of meetings, we will inform the date of their comeback soon".

This was how the agency's statement ended, making it clear that there is still no pre-established date for the band's return, however, in one of the questions they asked via Twitter, he stated that it would be for mid-2022.
