Fortnite has raised 50 million dollars that will be donated in favor of Ukraine
Xbox also joined the fundraising campaign, which will be active until April 3
Many companies around the world have joined the collection of funds to be donated to Ukraine, due to the Russian invasion that the country has been experiencing since the end of February.
On March 20, the company Epic Games, the developer of the Fortnite video game, announced that for two weeks all the profits obtained from purchases with real money will be used for humanitarian aid for the affected people in Ukraine.
During the first 24 hours after the announcement, the company reported that they managed to raise more than 36 million dollars.
They also commented that Xbox joined the fundraising and will also donate their net income during the aforementioned period.
How to collaborate with Ukraine through Fortnite?
Those users of the game who wish to collaborate can do so by making purchases through the Fortnite Club of paVos packs, battle passes and cosmetic packs such as the Emptiness Inhabitant pack; as well as making purchases in physical time of turkey cards and cosmetics.
The money raised until April 3 will go to the World Food Program, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees ( UNHCR ), Direct Relief and Unicef.
