Pro-Russian forces seize Mariupol port
About 1,500 to 3,000 Ukrainian nationalists are trapped.
According to the information provided by the leader of the separatist "Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin", pro-Russian forces took control of the port of the city of Mariupol, one of the most affected since the invasion of Ukraine began.
Hours before the takeover, Pushilin called on all his pro-Russian followers to intensify the advance and thus achieve the liberation of Donbas. In addition, he added that this action is due to the situation of the people.
Likewise, the separatist leader summarized the situation in Mariúpol, in the south of Donest, and assured that around 1,500 or 3,000 Ukrainian nationalists are trapped, specifically in the Azovstal area.
On the other hand, he ruled out taking a shot at the factory for the time being, as there are many tunnels and passageways that would favor the "enemy " and cause many fatal losses of followers. "So right now we need to understand how to lock down the factory, locate all the exits and entrances."
He also emphasized that the Donetsk militias aim to combat forces loyal to the government of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and will "come out of their burrows."
Similarly, he blamed kyiv for last Friday's bombing of the Kramatorsk railway station, where more than 50 people lost their lives.
