Assemble the savory cake

  1. In a mold of approximately 23 centimeters, add half of the mashed potatoes and flatten with the trowel, in order to smooth out what will be the base.

  2. Add a thick layer of mayonnaise over the mashed potatoes.

  3. Clean the mold of any traces of mayonnaise that have remained on the walls.

  4. Layer one layer of the chopped chicken on top of the mayonnaise, but calculate that the chicken has to last two layers.

  5. On top of the chicken, add one more layer of mayonnaise, but this time it should be very thin, as if you were just spreading lightly on the chicken.

  6. Add a layer with the tomato chopped into small pieces, distribute over the whole chicken with mayonnaise and flatten the surface, applying a little pressure.

  7. Add a layer of mayonnaise, but this time it should be slightly thicker than the previous layer of mayonnaise.

  8. Clean the walls of the mold again.

  9. Add the other half of the potatoes to make a layer with the mashed potatoes, distribute it over the entire surface and flatten, applying a little pressure.

  10. Add a new layer of mayonnaise, but this time a little thicker than the one you placed on top of the tomato pieces.

  11. Layer the chicken pieces in a new layer on top of the mayonnaise. Remember that this is the last layer with the chicken pieces, so you must arrange them completely on the surface.

  12. Add a new layer of mayonnaise over the chicken, but this time a little thinner.

  13. Add a layer with the 4 grated cooked eggs and proceed to flatten a little, press lightly with the trowel or spoon to smooth the surface.

  14. Put a new layer of mayonnaise over the eggs.

  15. Finally, place the cut lettuce, distributing it over the entire surface.

  16. Spread the grated egg that you had reserved, on top of the lettuce.

  17. Top with cherry tomatoes for garnish.

  18. Unmold and cut the pieces to serve on each plate.
