Monthly salary received by former FARC combatants is extended to eight years

A new decree welcomes the demobilized FARC, by the end of this month the ex-combatants will enjoy an additional 96 months of monthly premium, that is, eight years receiving aid from the Colombian government.

This initiative of the current president Ivan Duque is taken for those who demobilized to remain under the peace agreements stipulated from the beginning and do not follow the example of some who repeat themselves in returning to war. Some of these are former leaders of the tailcoat who are fugitives from justice, alias Jesús Santrich, Iván Márquez, El Paisa or Romaña.

Accompanied by these measures, they will also be officially located in sidewalks near the places where they are located. And many of the lands that the government recovered will pass into the hands of the demobilized.
