Today the news was revealed that BTS's Jungkook's "Euphoria" would be returning to the famous Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, becoming the song by a male K-pop singer to spend the most weeks on the chart musical. In this way, Jungkook would be beating the record previously held by BIGBANG's Taeyang.
This week, Jungkook's Euphoria would be turning 22 on the famous Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. Therefore, he would go on to be the male solo K-pop artist to have the single with the most weeks on that music chart. Thus, the fans of this singer or the ARMY would be celebrating a new special date for the group.
Previously, BIGBANG's Taeyang held this title thanks to his 2014 single "Eyes, Nose, Lips," which stayed a total of 21 weeks on the renowned Billboard music chart. This mention made the singer manage to have a great relevance worldwide and showed that BIGBANG maintained a great popularity at that time.
Aside from Jungkook, there are other BTS members who have managed to stay in the top for several weeks. In this way, we see Jimin with his two versions of the song Serendipity, which managed to pass 11 weeks (Intro) and 10 weeks (Extended version) respectively. Also, Jin did it with his song Epiphany, which spent 9 weeks on the Billboard chart.
BTS recently kicked off their temporary vacation after finishing a busy music schedule. In this way, this would be the first break the group has taken since their debut. Therefore, their fans or ARMY have already sent them their good wishes and their feelings confirming that they would be waiting for them for their next comeback in October.
