Egan Bernal asks to be received without so much protocol

After being the Champion of the Tour de France, Egan Bernal will be part of the San Sebastián cycling competition and likewise on August 7 he will arrive at his hometown Zipaquirá in Colombia.

The representative and champion of the beetles asks that upon arrival they have neither a fire engine, nor politicians, nor lizards ; reports Cesar Augusto Londoño.

But despite the champion's request, Zipaquirá will do a massive event for Egan in the main park, which will be in charge of the municipal mayor's office and the Colombian Cycling Federation and, undoubtedly, the fire truck cannot be needed in the caravan.

Likewise, Colombian President Iván Duque will be present at the event, who will decorate the Tour champion. Egan will receive the Cruz de Boyacá, the highest distinction that a Colombian can receive in his country.
