The best recipes with strawberries that you should know
There are multiple recipes with strawberries that you can try at home to take advantage of the large number of nutritional values of the fruit. However, not all of them are liked by children and very healthy.
That is why, below, we will explain the best recipes with healthy strawberries that you should know. In these we will include recipes for desserts, salads, among others.
Strawberry cup with cream and biscuit
Ingredients:
Lemon Cookies. (necessary amount)
500 grams of strawberries.
A cup of warm milk.
200 grams of sugar.
Half a liter of liquid cream.
Steps for its preparation:
Moisten the cookies with milk and let them rest on a tray. The idea is that it softens a bit, but don't get it too wet or it will fall apart. Take the tray with the wet cookies to the refrigerator.
Wash the strawberries, drain them and cut them into slices. However, leave a couple of halved strawberries.
Add the liquid cream in a bowl and beat with electric rods at medium speed while incorporating the sugar little by little until you notice that the cream is completely whipped.
Prepare the glasses by placing the cookies in the bottom, followed by some slices of strawberries, the cream and repeat this order until you reach the edge of the glass.
In the last layer of cream, decorate with the halved strawberries. If you like, decorate with a little whipped cream on top of the strawberries.
Strawberry salmorejo
Ingredients:
Salt to taste.
5 ripe tomatoes.
White wine vinegar.
Half a kilo of strawberries.
8 slices of slightly hard bread.
A garlic clove.
A little olive oil (amount necessary).
Steps for its preparation:
Cut the bread into small pieces and add a little water until they are soaked.
Cut the strawberries and tomatoes into small pieces. Likewise, chop the garlic into slices and add everything to the tray with the soaked pieces of bread.
Pour everything into the blender or mix with the help of a grinder. In the process, add some oil, vinegar and salt.
Continue beating everything until you get a cream with a fine texture and without lumps.
In case you notice too many lumps that you cannot beat, pass the cream through the strainer and check for salt.
Serve the cold salmorejo and decorate with a couple of chopped strawberries on the surface.
Strawberry and chocolate jam
Ingredients:
Four tablespoons of poop powder without sugar.
A kilogram of strawberries.
500 grams of sugar.
The juice of two lemons.
Steps for its preparation:
Wash the strawberries, drain them and remove the leaves. Then cut them into small pieces.
Place the pieces in a pot and pour in the sugar, followed by the juice of two lemons. Let the strawberry pieces rest in this way for at least two hours so that they release the water.
Let the strawberry pieces simmer for at least half an hour, whisking constantly with a paddle or spoon. Don't forget to remove the foam from the surface while it cooks.
To check that the jam is in its puto, place a spoonful of it on a plate and turn it vertically, if it does not fall, the jam is ready.
At this point, add the cocoa and beat to integrate. When it is completely integrated, remove the jam from the heat and let it rest until it is tempered.
Fill a couple of sterilized containers with the jam and if you won't be consuming it right away, close them and turn them upside down to cool completely.
Keep the containers with jam in the fridge and once you open the jars you should eat them within a week.
Strawberry and yogurt smoothie
Ingredients:
8 strawberries.
Forest fruits such as raspberries, blueberries, cherries, among others.
680 grams of sweetened Greek yogurts.
4 tablespoons of milk.
A little honey to taste.
Steps for its preparation:
Wash the strawberries and other wild fruits, drain and remove the stems and leaves. Then cut everything into small pieces.
In a blender, place the chopped fruit pieces, followed by the sweetened yogurt and a little milk.
Beat everything until you get a mixture without lumps.
Add a little honey at the end to taste to sweeten a little more only if you like.
Take to the refrigerator for a few minutes and serve cold.
Strawberry and spinach salad
Ingredients:
A bag of spinach can be between 250 and 350 grams.
200 grams of strawberries.
Salt and pepper to taste.
A couple of thin slices of goat cheese.
A little olive oil to taste.
The juice of 4 lemons.
100 grams of nuts.
Steps for its preparation:
Wash and disinfect the spinach and drain it, then leave it in a deep plate or tray.
Wash the strawberries, drain them and cut them into medium squares, then add them to the plate with the spinach.
Cut the nuts in half and add to the rest of the ingredients.
Cut the goat cheese into small pieces and transfer these pieces to the plate with the rest of the salad.
Mix everything together and sprinkle some salt and pepper to taste on top. Also, add a little olive oil, along with salt and pepper.
Strawberry gazpacho
Ingredients:
A glass of cold water.
A cucumber.
A pinch of nutmeg.
350 grams of strawberries.
A sweet onion.
Salt to taste.
A tablespoon of red pepper.
A tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs.
A tablespoon of olive oil.
Steps for its preparation:
Peel and chop the cucumber, onion and pepper into small pieces. Also wash the strawberries and chop them into small pieces.
Place these ingredients in the blender and let them blend until you get a fine cream.
Add a little olive oil and vinegar. Likewise, spread a little salt and a pinch of nutmeg to incorporate. Beat a little more.
Add the cold water and the breadcrumbs. Let all this integrate beating a little more and once ready, take it to the refrigerator to cool down.
Strain the gazpacho again and whisk to break up any traces of lumps.
Serve with some crushed ice and enjoy.
