Erik Jennings, a Brazilian doctor, was in charge of taking the photograph in which a young Tawy is seen, from Zoé's hometown, while he was holding his father.
Tawy had to take his father for six hours through the interior of the Amazon jungle, going through different obstacles such as streams and slopes. After the vaccine was applied to their father, they returned the same way to their town.
The Brazilian specialist clarified that the indigenous community of Zoé is a small and isolated town in Brazil, located in a hidden place in the Amazon.
Zoé's group of people has not announced any COVID-19 cases yet.
The professional described this photograph as "the most memorable moment of 2021".
