Jennifer López and Alex Rodríguez donate a year of food to poor children in Jacksboro
Jennifer Lopez knows how difficult it can be to feed children healthy meals, especially when she is a mother of four.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were so excited when they saw school teacher Brooke Goins' Facebook post about a student at Jacksboro Elementary School in Jacksboro, TN, who didn't have enough to eat.
As a partner with Tiller & Hatch Supply Co., a recently launched meal delivery service that provides healthy family meals that are easy to prepare.
Today I cried at work. Not because I hate my job or because it is too difficult (it really is) (…) Today I cried for a child, a child who innocently talked about food and the lack of it.
Jennifer and Alex decided to donate a year of "delicious and healthy meals" to students and the school food pantry, helping to feed students who would otherwise go to bed hungry.
When we saw this story, not only did I cry, but Alex's too (…) Everyone should have access to delicious and nutritious food (…) Giving back and being there for others is what matters most. "
Tiller & Hatch will be in charge of feeding these children over the course of a year. Of course, Jennifer López and Alex Rodríguez seek other people to sponsor institutions where they can help children to eat.
