Teenager murders his family after losing in a video game

Zain Ali is a 14-year-old boy from Pakistan who was arrested by the authorities after he was killed after losing the game of the PUBG video game.
The Pakistani media, Dawn, reported that the incident took place in Lahore, Pakistan. The minor was in his room while he was playing, and when he was close to winning his game, he lost. This defeat frustrated him so much that he was filled with rage and reached for his mother's gun.
Having it in his hands, he approached the room where his mother was and there he shot her and her two brothers. His younger brother, hearing the shots inside the house, decided to go inside and was also shot.
The boy, after committing the crime, went to his room, fell asleep and then looked for a way to get rid of the weapon. When he returned, he acted as if everything had happened while he was asleep, the Dawn portal indicated.
During the first days of the investigation, the child's version was taken as true. However, in a collection of clues and data at the house, the crime group found a blood stain in Ali's room. This discovery turned the investigation full circle.
Ali will have to press charges for having murdered his 45-year-old mother, and his three brothers aged 20, 15 and 10, Pakistani authorities said.
This case has started debate in the Lahore High Court regarding the prohibition and regulation of violent video games. It is not the first time that this case has been presented, which generates outrage throughout the country.
Young man stabs his older brother
In 2021, the case of the murder of a young man, attacked by his younger brother, for beating him in a Free Fire video game match, in Mexico, was known.
The brothers had an argument in which the minor felt a bit frustrated because he had lost. After a few minutes, he went to the kitchen, took a knife and went back to where his brother was. With the white weapon he stabbed him to death.
The father told the media that they both spent their time playing video games on the phone. The minor was arrested by the police for his responsibility in the act.
Excessive video games until hospitalized
A case was published by a team from the Jaime I University, the Provincial Hospital of Castellón and the General University Hospital, in which the first clinical case worldwide was shown, of a minor who, due to the abuse of video games, had to be hospitalized for two months in Spain.
