President of Ukraine warns of coup on December 1
These last few days have been very tense between Moscow and Kiev due to the concentration of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine.
Due to this, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, assured this Friday during a press conference that they are preparing a coup against him to overthrow him.
For this, there would be a plot that would be ending his mandate on December 1. Likewise, Zelenski announced that some Russian representatives would be involved in the coup.
Following these statements, Dimitri Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, has denied that Russia is involved in such plans.
"I have received information from the secret services that a coup in Ukraine will take place on December 1," revealed the top Ukrainian political leader.
According to the investigation, these words were obtained through a telephone conversation of the alleged conspirators, discussing this matter with the Russian representatives. However, the president of this country did not specify who they were.
Strong evidence of the coup in Ukraine
In the recordings obtained, it has been possible to collect great information about him by the attack planned for December 1.
According to the President of Ukraine, Zelensky, you can see how they speak of the Ukrainian tycoon, Rinat Akhmetov, who kept his fortune in the eastern Ukraine region of Donetsk.
Who currently proclaims himself independent and in the hands of separatists aided by Moscow.
Despite all this, the Ukrainian president has assured that Akhmetov's voice does not appear anywhere on the recording, so his participation has not been confirmed.
"I do not believe that Akhmetov is involved in an event like this," Zelensky pointed out. He has also said that to prepare this event that would fill the country with violence they have allocated around 900 million euros.
He has made it clear that if this coup were to take place, he would not flee the country to any other part as if his predecessor in office, Victor Yanukovych, did.
In addition, Peskov has denounced that the Ukrainian president is launching baseless accusations against Moscow, which could be marked as a crime. "Russia is not dedicated to this kind of thing", he pointed out during a press conference.
Martial Law will be applied on December 1
Oleg Liashko, former deputy and leader of the Radical Party, said on Thursday that the Ukrainian president intends to establish "martial law" on December 1, using Russia's military aggressiveness as an excuse.
Likewise, Liashko has indicated that the true intentions are to curtail the freedom of the press. "According to my information, President Zelensky has proposed introducing martial law in Ukraine for two months, this in order to place the media under his control and thus be able to combat protests in the most effective way".
Ukraine is ready to fight militarily with Russia
During the press conference given by President Zelensky on Friday, he insisted that Ukraine is ready to face Russia militarily if necessary.
On the other hand, the head of the Ukrainian military intelligence, Kirilo Budánov, estimates that the Russian military troops have deployed around 92,000 men along the Ukrainian border and that the offensives may be starting in late January or early February.
Both the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014 and the outbreak of war in the rebel enclaves of Donetsk and Lugansk, which receive military and financial aid from the Kremlin, for now keep Ukraine in a constant situation of confrontation with Russia.
Despite having signed a peace agreement in 2015 between the two countries, it has not been enough to calm the conflicts that exist between both nations.
