Start 2022 with a minimum wage increase in 21 US states
In early 2022, the United States made an increase in the minimum wage in 21 states of its country, some states will have a wage increase that will completely change the minimum wage for workers, from pennies to dollars per hour.
Most of the salary increases went into effect on January 1, 2022, but New York began on December 31, 2021.
Wage increases in New York and seven other states are part of a salary schedule
For New York and seven other states, a salary increase is part of a salary schedule, to reach S15 dollars per hour of the minimum wage for several years.
Other states that decided to raise the minimum wage
Delaware, California, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Rhode.
Other states have also increased wages due to legislation they have passed for some initiatives put to the ballot, while others have been required by states, Arizona, Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, South Dakota, Ohio, Vermont and Washington.
In 2018 in Missouri they approved that the state minimum wage be increased to 12 dollars in five years, New Mexico, Virginia and Michigan put something similar with the goal of paying a minimum of 12 dollars.

Federal aid for the minimum wage increase
The federal minimum wage will remain at $7.25, said wage has not been changed since 2009.
Some Democrats along with President Joe Biden have hailed a minimum wage increase of $15 an hour, by signing an executive order in April, Biden raised the minimum wage for contractors to $15, an agreement that will take effect at the end of January.
Biden thinks that an exchange wage increase would completely part of the poverty of the people.
