The authorities used one of the three photographs in the Photographic Recognition catalog to identify one of the different people involved in the crime.

This investigation culminated in the arrest of a 17-year-old teenager, as confirmed by the authorities.

On December 25 at dawn, the massacre occurred when a group of hooded men shot down a soccer field in the Sapiranga area, in Fortaleza, capital of Ceará, leaving as a result six wounded and five dead men.

The authorities often use the recognition test through photographs to confirm a crime suspect.

On certain occasions, they use photos of characters to verify the credibility of the witnesses who accuse an implicated person. So far, 28 people have been related to the event.

The police indicated that recognition through photographs is only one of the procedures that can lead to the incrimination of a denounced.

The explanations of the witnesses and the mastery of the specialists in the location of the crime (collection of fingerprints and videos of surveillance cameras), are equally important for the investigative process.

In addition, the police pointed out that the use of these images does not reflect the normal practices of the organization and said that this type of strategy will not be used again to distinguish the suspects, but rather photos of people with a history marked by crimes will be used. Similar.
