Birkenstock improves his personal footwear representing international figures
Birkenstock is one of the most popular brands of sandals and flip-flops in Germany. However, his style has conquered Europe and ventures into American markets as an exclusive line of personal footwear.
Birkenstock is considered an iconic, minimalist brand with styles designed to improve the comfort of its customers. Since 2018 they have launched a new line of sandals that was represented by international figures such as British photographer Ryan McGinley and Nobel laureate Thomas Südhof and their favorite, often worn sandals.
However, during 2019 a transformation began. Portraits of the legendary Grace Coddington, iD magazine founders Terry and Tricia Jones, and a self-portrait of Jack Davison, who filmed the entire campaign, have been revealed.
"The campaign is a very personal relationship with a Birkenstock sandal. The fact is that we do not need to convey an advertising message, but rather express our gratitude for the loyalty and authenticity of some of our key customers, who actually live at Birkenstocks," said the CEO. Oliver Reichert.
Very soon we will know the results of this innovation and how they are often influenced by great international figures.
