Cast of Game of Thrones talks about his controversial final at Comic-Con 2019
Yesterday was the last panel or public conference of the cast of the renowned series of HBO, Game of Thrones. In this way, the actors spoke, with the audience, about their opinions regarding the last season of this wonderful series.
This panel was made up of Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Conleth Hill (Varys), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Jacob Anderson (Gray Worm), Liam Cunningham(Davos Seaworth), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Hempstead-Wright (Bran)
What most generated controversy throughout the event was the non-participation, in this opportunity, of its creators David Benioff y D.B. Weiss, who were strongly criticized in all media for the end they gave to the last season of Game of Thrones.
Despite all this, the actors accompanied the whole event with a lot of sentimentality and laughter in between. In this way, they remembered a series that would be leaving a mark on television and in the culture of the whole world.
There was a moment of tension when Nikolaj Coster-Waldauwho interprets Jaime Lannister in the series, he noted that the death of his person seemed to him perfect. All this caused some booing in the present audience, for which he had to appease the displeasure by commenting on the following:
This series has been seen and loved by many people, and it is obvious that when it reaches its end they will feel annoyed, no matter what happens.
On the other hand, Isaac Hempstead Wright who plays Bran Stark in the series, he commented that the ambiguity at the end of the series was the key point that would make it be remembered for all time as one of the best television endings:
One of the most intelligent things about this ending is that it does not end in an extremely clear way ... It is the chaos in the kingdom (...) It is not definitively closed, and it leaves room for interpretation.
One of the moments that generated laughter in the whole place was when the actors joked about one of the scenes of the final season, where you can witness a glass of Starbucks. John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) joked that he apologized for being thirsty and for having a glass similar to this franchise.
Recently, Game of Thrones managed to break records getting a total of 32 nominations to the emmys of this 2019.
