Colombia: Car bomb explosion left three police officers injured
Specialists are at the scene of the event, to examine the remains of the car
In Padilla, department of Cuaca, the explosion of a car bomb was experienced this Sunday. This event left three people injured.
The incident occurred near the police station, according to official sources.
Cristóbal Morales, mayor of Padilla, reported that the explosion was detected 100 meters from the police post and left three officers injured, none of them seriously.
Until now, there is no information if this was really the target of the attack.
The investigations have begun to find the perpetrators of the attack, which has disturbed the tranquility of the citizens.
The windows of the buildings and houses were affected by the blast wave, which caused a lot of fear in people.
Police and military personnel remain in the area, according to the Defense Minister, Diego Molano.
