Uber driver is killed by a passenger in the United States
Despite the woman's pleas and indicating that she was the mother of four children, the man decided to take her life by shooting her in the head.
On February 10, Christina Spicuzza, an Uber driver, was shot to death by a passenger she picked up in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States.
According to police investigations, the 38-year-old woman picked up 22-year-old Calvin Crew around 9:14 p.m.
The murder was recorded by the car's camera.
The vehicle where the murder occurred had a camera, which recorded the moment when Crew grabbed Spicuzza by the hair and pointed the gun at her head, to which the driver replied "It has to be a joke", being forced to drive into a wooded area.
Despite the woman's pleas and indicating that she was the mother of four children, the man decided to take her life by shooting her in the head.
Later, he took the driver's cell phone and transferred all the money from her accounts, leaving the body and the car abandoned.
Body of the mother of four found two days later
Having no news of Christina, her family decided to contact authorities, who two days later found her body in the Rosecrest Drive area.
According to a statement from the county police, Spicuzza's body was discovered face down, with his mask still on and a bullet wound in the head.
The suspect was arrested and charged with murder.
On February 17, seven days after the murder, Calvin Crew was arrested in the municipality of Penn Hills, and charged with intentional homicide, robbery and tampering with evidence.
Crew's girlfriend told authorities that the man had asked her to request an Uber service on her behalf, and even asked to borrow her gun.
Finally, the 22-year-old man was transferred to the Allegheny County prison where he is awaiting indictment.
