Ukrainian mother writes her daughter's data on her back to safeguard her life
The parent came to think in the midst of her despair of tattooing the data on her daughter
Vira, is the name of the Ukrainian girl who carries her name, surname and contact number of her parents on her back.
The idea came from the mother and she did it with the sole objective of receiving help in case something happened to her, or to her parents in the midst of the war in her country.
Oleksandra Nakovy, is the name of the mother who in a creative way had this initiative, thinking that it was not fair that only soldiers had identification plates. Because the children and women of this nation need it too.
One of the characteristics of wars is that the attacks are uncertain and you never know what is going to happen on a daily basis. Ukraine has experienced this for more than 40 days, when Russian troops entered its territory and unceremoniously attacked the most defenseless.
The president of Ukraine has taken this news to make a call to conscience during his speech in the Congress of Deputies, held in Spain.
"Imagine mothers who write their name and a contact of someone close with a pen on the back of their children, in case the occupants kill the parents, these children have a small chance of being saved," Zelensky said.
Oleksandra's action was told by Iuliia Mendel through her Twitter account and ended up published in the British newspaper The Guardian. "I was even surprised to be thinking at this point of giving my daughter a tattoo," the mother concluded during the interview.
Russian mother also fights to save her teenage son
On the other hand, on the Russia-Ukraine border, a 45-year-old Russian woman, who is a political analyst, told the New York Times that she is fighting for her son's life, but in a totally different context from that of the Ukrainian mother..
And it is that her teenage son joined the protests in Russia against the war and for this he was arrested, but the mother has not found him, despite having visited many police stations in Moscow.
The mother assured that there are various threats to her son on social networks, which, according to her, indicates that city police officials disseminated her personal data to organized groups of "criminals and murderers of the Russian regime," she assured.
This Ukrainian mother, very different from the Russian mother, prefers not to report even the name of her son, for fear that both she and the minor could be harmed more. "I feel like a drop in the ocean. Someone is deciding for us and the passivity of many is our tragedy," lamented the lady.
This war, which started more than a month ago, has affected the physical and psychological integrity of countless people in Ukraine, Russia and the whole world. And what most hope is that all this will end soon.
