The highest paid salaries of actresses in Hollywood

The wage gap between men and women does not disappear. Forbes has published its annual report with the list of highest paid Hollywood actresses in 2019.

In addition to the detailed earnings report, the analysis of the lists has revealed two serious problems. The first is the upward trend in the generation of earnings from streaming platforms, many of the stars on the list do not reap awards and presences on cinema screens, their audience is that of the digital screens of smart devices.

The second is the eternal gender inequality in terms of obtaining earnings, an aspect no less than that to date does not advance in positive terms for women.

# 1 Scarlett Johansonn, with earnings of $56 million from her stakes in Marvel productions.

# 2 Sofia Vergara, star of "Modern Family", a Fox comedy that is coming to an end this year, amassed $44.1 million.

# 3 Reese Witherspoon, with earnings of $35 million.

# 4 Nicole Kidman, star and producer of "Big Little Lies", with $34 million.

The list goes on with Jennifer Aniston thanks to Apple TV's "The Morning Show," making about 25 million, and then Kaley Cuoco, with 25 million for her starring role in "The Bing Bang Theory."

If we keep going through the list this is still confirmed with Elisabeth Moss, who with the Hulu fiction "The Handmaid's Tale" earned $24 million.

Margot Robbie, earned $23.5 million for the film "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", by Quentin Tarantino.

Charlize Theron (23 million) and Ellen Pompeo, the eternal Meredith from Grey's Anatomy (22 million) close the list.

The accumulated last year, according to the same source, shows, between June 1, 2018 and June 1, 2019, a total of 588.3 million dollars for males, and for actresses 314.6 million dollars: an annual difference of 273.7 million.
