Russia gave Ukraine proposal to finalize peace

Despite Russia's commitment to a ceasefire, an onslaught has begun over the weekend in several cities.

The Kremlin spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, reported that Russia delivered a proposal to the Ukrainian government in order to finalize peace, this within the framework of the talks carried out by both countries.

The representative of the Russian presidency stressed that there are “clear and concrete” ideas in the text sent, so it only remains to wait for the response of the Ukrainian head of state, Volodímir Zelensky, since, as Peskov pointed out, “the ball is in his court”..

Until now it is not known if there is a term for Ukraine to approve the proposal, according to the spokesman, the times will be defined by the receiving party; however, he stressed that the dynamics of work in Kiev, "leaves much to be desired", so in his opinion they do not show interest in the evolution of the talks.

Peskov stressed that Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that Ukraine is constantly changing its mind, even with the proposals that they themselves make. He stressed that in this situation the treaty has been delayed and therefore the end of the war.

While the spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Defense, María Zajárova, emphasized that the Kremlin lost confidence in the commitment of the Ukrainian side, since they were the ones who requested that a dialogue table be set up and now they are the ones who have delayed it.

Zakharova called kyiv's action a "circus" and recalled that the Minsk pact was breached precisely by Ukraine. In his opinion “the Ukrainian regime” is manipulated by external forces.

Despite the fact that at the end of March Russia promised to reduce the offensive in the vicinity of kyiv and other cities, since the weekend the attacks have increased and it is estimated that it is planning an attack in the Donbas area, the which he has disputed for more than 8 years.
