Shooting in Colombia causes commotion in Norte de Santander

The municipality "El Tarra", in the North of Santander, was the scene of a shooting, which left four people injured, including a minor who was in a school act, as part of Children's Day.
The images of a group of more than 2,000 children with their representatives and teachers who took shelter from the bullets went viral on social networks. They were in a sports center where an act was being held for Children's Day.

Statement of the authorities
The Colombian Ombudsman's Office condemned the violent acts, while at the same time asking the irregular armed groups to stay out of civilian areas and especially from children, since a minor was injured.
