Russian President Putin assures that his cough is not from Covid-19: "I get tested every day"
In recent days, Putin has been seen with a cough during his public appearances, which has suggested that the President of Russia may be infected with Covid-19. However, Vladimir Putin has assured that his cough is not a bad thing.
The Russian president has indicated that the test for Covid-19 and other infections is carried out almost every day, so he has ruled out being infected by said virus.
"The air was very fresh, I have moved very actively, it is not a bad thing, I am sure", were the words of Vladimir Putin during a videoconference carried out this Monday on state television.
It must be taken into account that Valentina Matviyenko, President of the Council of Russia, had expressed concern about the state of the president's health, but with the president's words all this has calmed down a bit, since Putin assures that the test is done daily and have been able to detect that it is not a bad thing.
Putin's quarantine
Despite being tested daily and testing negative, due to security measures the Russian president had to quarantine for more than two weeks at the end of last month, bearing in mind that he had had contact with several people who tested positive for coronavirus, for what her cough worried the most.
During the last public appearances of Vladimir Putin, he has been seen coughing on several occasions, thus creating a state of alert throughout the presidency and great concern in the country. But despite this, the entire Russian people have been given reassurance, as both the president and the Kremlin have denied that Putin has Covid-19 or any other disease.
