Chinese government will keep diplomats in Ukraine
The tension lingers stronger
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said the embassy in Ukraine is "working normally," in response to questions about whether or not they planned to evacuate diplomatic staff.
Similarly, he stressed that the Chinese government is closely monitoring its entire population to "safeguard the security and legitimate rights and interests" of the citizens and businessmen of this Asian country.
However, last Saturday they called on the Chinese in Ukraine to pay attention to the situation, since "the current tense relations between Ukraine and Russia have aroused a lot of attention and there are several inconsistent opinions", while confirming that the Embassy will always be with you.
When asked why China had not withdrawn the embassy staff, Wenbin said that for them the situation in Ukraine is clear and they must "remain rational and refrain from inflaming tensions or exaggerating the crisis."
These statements were offered this Monday, after the negotiations attempts to prevent Russia from invading Ukraine did not advance during the weekend, so the tension persists with more force.
