New earthquake is perceived in CDMX, Polanco and Lomas de Chapultepec
Users of social networks said they had felt the earthquake in San Ángel, Lomas de Chapultepec, Polanco and even Tecamachalco, in the State of Mexico. From these cities they report having strongly felt the movement, while the civil security protection called for prudence.
Mexico has always been recognized for its seismic movements, but the protection agencies ask the community to be prudent when reporting these natural events and also not to sow fear in the area.
The National Seismological Service of Mexico reported: EARTHQUAKE Magnitude 2.2 Loc. 2 km NORTHWEST of V ALVARO OBREGON, CDMX 07/18/19 13:54:51 Lat 19.41 Lon -99.21 Pf 2 km. Although hours earlier they had reported an earthquake in CD Hidalgo.
So far it is unknown if there are material damages or injuries during the event.
