Spanish teacher, Noheme Graber, 66 years old.

According to the surveillance videos, that Tuesday, November 2, the teacher was seen leaving a park after 4:00 pm and being followed by the defendants aboard a van.

Having no communication with her, her family reported her disappearance and later her body was found on Wednesday afternoon in Chautauqua Park in the city of Fairfield.

Court records show that Graber's body sustained head trauma and was covered under a tarp on top of a wheelbarrow located near the railroad tracks.

Teenagers betrayed thanks to social networks

The investigations pointed to the teenagers when a friend of theirs delivered some Snapchat messages where Goodale indicated that together with Chaiden Miller he had planned and executed the murder of the teacher.

Thanks to this, the police force obtained a search warrant for Goodale's account, finding out how the teenager explained that they kept watching the teacher, how they killed her with a baseball bat, the place where they disposed of her body and the efforts they did to eliminate evidence linking them to the murder.

In addition, search warrants were also issued for the homes of the young people, where they found bloody clothes, a laptop and the possible murder weapon, a baseball bat.

Among other evidence presented, the car of one of those involved was captured on video entering and leaving the park where the body of the 66-year-old woman was found.

The 16-year-olds could be tried as adults for the teacher's murder.

Last Tuesday, a judge rejected the defense attorneys' request to prohibit the media from entering the hearing, where they will determine whether the 16-year-olds will be tried as adults or in a juvenile court.

According to the AP agency, Goodale's trial is set for August 23, while Miller's will take place on November 1, 2022.

So far the motive for the murder has not been disclosed, as his lawyers have tried at all costs to hide the documents surrounding the case.
