Lay is a Chinese-born K-pop artist who debuted with the boy group EXO. For this reason, the singer has been extremely shocked due to the recent events in his country. Thus, he has decided to express his opinion on the matter with what would be a very controversial and controversial tweet.

In the Tweet published by Yixing, the K-pop singer states that he wishes peace for Hong Kong and China, for which he would fully support any act of repression by the police in that country:

This comment generated great controversy among Yixing fans, because some of them consider that the acts of the Hong Kong police are too cruel and violent. Therefore, they have decided to criticize the singer for expressing his support for such acts that go against democracy and the rights of anyone in the world.

The protests that have been generated in Hong Kong are due to recent decisions to enact an extradition law in that territory. This law came to light after a Chinese individual, last year, murdered his pregnant girlfriend in Taiwan and will then return to Hong Kong.
