Kurzawa charges against Leonardo before leaving the PSG club
Left-back Layvin Kurzawa, who is no longer important to the club and is basically not in Leonardo's plans, and Mauricio Pochettino has charged Leonardo.
On this occasion, the French footballer has assured the PSG dressing room that the club's sporting director Leonardo would come out first. It should be noted that the sale of the player is expected to be achieved in the winter market, so he would be spending his last weeks in the French club uniform.
Main favorite to leave the club
Kurzawa has become the main favorite for Leonardo to leave the club in the next winter market, this because the performance of the full-back is no longer proportional to that of the squad and possibly due to some inconveniences with the sporting director of the club.
So far, the 29-year-old French left-back turned down an offer for Galatasaray and Lyon last summer, with the intention of winning a place at PSG.
But the recovery of Bernat and the arrival of Nuno Medes have prevented him from taking that position, so he is neither in the first nor second option to occupy that position.
The news of Kurzawa right now is very worrying, it is not at all in PSG's plans, so much so that Mauricio Pochettino has not called him up for the last club games, so his departure seems to be a fact in this winter market.
Kurzawa Renovation
Kurzawa's present at PSG in 2020 was completely different from the one he currently lives in the club, he was a player who was taken into account and who contributed to his team, something that is not happening right now and everything seems to indicate that it will not happen plus.
This is how in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, specifically in June, the club from the French capital renewed the left-back until 2024. This was a decision that Leonardo was never in favor of.
This clearly caused great annoyance to Kurzawa, a former Monaco player, who at the time challenged the sporting director. He also assured the entire locker room that Leonardo would leave PSG first than him. Clearly this was a provocation for the Brazilian, who has since placed the winger on the starting ramp.
Everything seems to indicate that Leonardo would be winning the dispute and the departure of the French side seems to be imminent or at least PSG no longer takes it into account, so he will have to find another destination if he wants to continue at a high football level.
However, Kurzawa's departure from PSG would be involved in a great inconvenience, in this case it is the high salary that the player receives at the Paris club. The truth is that there are very few teams in Europe that will be able to access the full-back's claims.
This will force the player to have to lower his salary in case of leaving the French club.
In addition, PSG no longer has him, so they will do everything possible to sell him to a club in this next transfer market and thus be able to reduce the salary mass of the club, who right now pays a large sum of money to Kurzawa for not playing.
Possible future of Kurzawa
Having his future far from Paris, Kurzawa has had to start negotiations with another club. For now, everything indicates that the biggest in Italy, Juventus wants to take over the services of the French left-back.
This is how many say that Juventus has everything very advanced in terms of the player's negotiations, news that could be making official even before the end of the year, since PSG does not intend to place any obstacles for this.
What's more. The same Italian coach Maurizio Sarri has confirmed all this through a press conference where he expressed the following: "It is a possibility that the club is handling right now".
The agreement is not closed, but it is true, there are contacts with the player. "I discuss it with my sports director, but I am not aware of the negotiations".
In this way, the possible arrival of Kurzawa in Italian football would be confirmed, thus achieving a place in the largest club in that country. It is still unknown if the player will have to cut the salary he receives at PSG or if the Italian club is willing to pay him a sum similar to what he earns in France.
So it will only be a matter of days or weeks to meet this new Juventus signing, who will try to strengthen their team in this next winter market and seek to have a much more competitive squad, considering that they have been losing a lot of strength both in the league local as in international competitions.
