The Portuguese country stands out for its two urban faces represented by the cities of Lisbon and Porto, two of the most visited in Europe today. It is also known as the garden by the ocean, for its cosmopolitan cities and paradisiacal beaches.

It has a warm climate, mostly accompanied by 850 kilometers of sea, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, making it the perfect place to visit in all seasons.

Don Luis I Bridge

Don Luis I Bridge

It was built in 1877 by Teófilo de Porto, and for this an international competition was held, this being the winning design. From the top you can see an incredible view of the Ribeira and the Douro River.

The building has two levels, the first one is used by the Porto Metro, but it can also be explored on foot. While the lower one, can be crossed either on foot or by car.

Regaleira Palace

It was named Cultural Heritage of Humanity, for its incredible statues, towers, wells and exuberant nature. It is located near the historic center and is one of the most enigmatic places in Sintra.

The Palace was built at the beginning of the 20th century, by Antonio Augusto Monteiro (1848-1920), who made one of his dreams come true with this construction, lush with vegetation, making it a fascinating discovery.

In it, its romantic style stands out, with Gothic, Manueline and Renaissance decorations, mixed with mythical and esoteric symbology.

Lisbon Oceanarium

Lisbon Oceanarium

It was built inside the Expo 98, in the Parque de las Naciones de Lisboa, by the architect Peter Chermayeff. It is the largest aquarium in Europe and its habitat exceeds 15,000 living beings and 450 different species.

The Oceanarium consists of four separate spaces, which represent the habitats of the different oceans, including their flora and fauna.

Its main attraction is the central tank, where there are several types of fish (tropical, barracuda, rays, tuna and sharks).

Ponta da Piedade

Located in the Portuguese region of the Algarve, they are a set of cliffs that provide an impressive landscape on the coast.

From the sea you can easily see the caves, grottoes and natural arches, that the wind and the sea have excavated in the rocks.

The turquoise blue of its waters allows you to see the bottom of the sea with total ease, and its yellow and golden rocks like cliffs approximately 20 meters high, became one of the most striking attractions, not only of the region but also of the country in general.

It is located on the southwestern coast of Portugal, in the Algarve area. It is a place rich in biodiversity, with the highest number of native species of flora in the country.

The main activities that tourists do when they visit the park are hiking, surfing, paragliding and climbing. Also, it has beaches with large cliffs, being another of the greatest attractions of the Costa Vicentina.

Of the European baroque libraries, framed in the rococo current, it is one of the most original. It was built between 1717 and 1718 on the former Royal Palace Prison.

To keep the paper in good condition, inside the building there is a colony of bats that feed on the papyrophagous insects that roam the place and want to eat the books. Those in charge of protecting the tables with leather towels so that the excrement does not damage them.
