It is a hereditary disease which damages the nervous system. This disease affects the spinal cord and nerves that control the movement of muscles of the arms and legs. the symptoms of this disease usually appear from 5 to 15 years.
The main symptom of this disease is ataxia. Which is the difficulty to coordinate the movements.
After 15 to 20 years of the appearance of the first symptom in people suffering from this disease is necessary to acquire a wheelchair.
