Why do I have a bitter taste in my mouth?
Like any kind of strange change in the saliva, a bad taste in the mouth can be a symptom that something is not right with our health. Although this condition is usually associated with gastric affections, it is not exclusively the cause, since some liver and buccal diseases can cause it.
Also, it does not necessarily have to be about a disease. In the case of women, the bitter taste in the mouth may be due to a simple hormonal change due to pregnancy or menstruation. Similarly, a sufficiently strenuous stress situation may be able to dry the mouth to produce a bitter taste.
