  • 200 milliliters of cream.

  • 500 grams of chard.

Step by step to make a chard cake in the microwave

1. To start, you must prepare the chard before cooking.

Cut the stem and remove the sticking strands. Wash very well and drain.

2. Place the chard in a microwaveable container with a lid.

Program, the microwave about 6 minutes at maximum power.

3. Take advantage of the time and while the chard is still there, chop the onions into very fine pieces.

4. When the chard is done, change the containers. Place the one with the onions in the microwave and cook for 4 minutes.

6. Then, in the container where we have the cooked chard, add the mixture you just made and the crystallized onions.

7. Cover again and microwave for at least 12 minutes. In this time the mixture should curdle, if not you should cook a couple more minutes until the proper texture is achieved.

8. Remove from the microwave, serve and voilà! A delicious way to eat Swiss chard that you won't be able to ignore.
