If your intention is to show off or create something unique for your family during the New Year's festivities, here are several options to accompany your dishes at New Year's dinner.
Christmas tree-shaped salad
Ingredients
½ cup of pomegranate
1 bunch of Swiss chard, chopped
½ cup walnuts
2 tablespoons blueberries
1 green apple
¾ cup of green grapes
1 onion
2 tangerines
For the sauce
1 slice of pineapple
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Salt
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Pepper
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
½ tablespoon grated orange peel
Step by step of the salad
The first thing is to clean and chop all the ingredients. The onion in cubes, the orange and apple in small pieces, as well as the pineapple. Don't forget to save a slice for final decoration.
Chop all the salad ingredients and place them all in a bowl to prepare the salad.
For the dressing
Sauté the pineapple a little, until it crystallizes. In a separate bowl add the honey, vinegar, orange zest, salt and pepper. Mix everything together and let the flavors blend.
I recommend you be the first thing you prepare.
Now, add the sauce to the salad ingredients and mix until everything is well combined.
At your service
You just have to place the tree-shaped salad on a plate and finish the decoration by cutting the pineapple slice in a star shape.
If you have, with a cutter it is easier and that's it! A delicious salad to enjoy.
Quinoa salad

¼ onion
1 green apple
2 sticks of celery
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 lemon
5 chambray onions
2 cups of hazelnuts
1 teaspoon parsley
1 tablespoon of oil
2 cups of hazelnuts
2 cups of water
½ cup blueberries
Preparation
To start, chop the hazelnuts. Remember to remove the skin. Likewise, chop the parsley, blueberries and onions, celery and the green part of the cambay onion.
Clean and rinse the quinoa. To do this, get a strainer, place the quinoa and turn on the tap water, move the quinoas with your hands.
Then, put the quinoa in a pot and add water. Heat in the kitchen over high heat until it comes to a boil.
At this point, add salt to taste, cover, and let it cook for at least 15 minutes. This will cause the liquid to drain away. Wait for it to cool down.
Now, heat a pan with the oil and fry the celery and onion until they crystallize. Add a little salt and pepper and then finish cooking for 3 more minutes.
At the end of the time, take to a bowl and add the parsley, the green part of the chambray onion and the blueberries.
Now it is time to add the previously chopped apple, remove the lemon juice and sprinkle them all over the ingredients.
Mix very well, and add the cold quinoa with the hazelnuts. Lastly, add a little olive oil along with the salt and pepper.
Take it to the fridge and wait for it to cool completely. A great quinoa salad to enjoy at Christmas.
