Nemus: an NFT project that seeks to save the Amazon
Some NFT projects can become extremely interesting and be born with a completely different ideology. It is true that in recent months there have been many scams around this world. However, sometimes, some projects like these usually appear.
Nemus was born with a completely different ideology, they do not seek to make money, but to raise funds for a quite noble purpose, to save the Amazon jungle. Anyone can participate and contribute their own grain of sand to the cause.
What is Nemus' proposal?
As we already mentioned, the objective is to help safeguard and protect the flora and fauna that inhabit the jungle. As part of the project, the developers have proposed a map, which describes an area of the Amazon.
This is a real area, but they are selling those surfaces virtually. These virtual "parcels" can be purchased in an NFT format and these can be of different sizes.
The objective is that the funds that are collected will serve to contribute to the preservation of the species that are found in the area. Obviously promoting the preservation of an area as extensive as the Amazon rainforest is a titanic job. That is counting the large amount of resources that would be needed.
That is why the developers have focused on just one area and hope that this will serve as an example for more people and organizations to join in the work.

The NFTs offered by Nemus are inspired by the jungle and the animals that live there. The truth is that they are really impressive works of art and careful in every detail.
The NFT collection was baptized as Genesis Drop and its design comes from the hand of Ben Kwok, a Taiwanese artist who has joined the project.

How to contribute to the project?
If you are interested in this project and want to contribute to the cause, then we are going to explain everything you need to know to be able to buy these NFTs.
1. Buy the tickets
At the moment, it is not possible to buy the NFTs directly, you will have to buy the tickets first and you will be put on a waiting list. Typically, you'll be receiving your tickets within a few days of making your request.
2. You must select the area
When you already have the tickets, you must choose an area which is represented within a map. You can choose the area you prefer and over this you will be able to be its "guardian".
3. Exchange your ticket for the NFT
Once you have already chosen the plot, you must exchange your ticket for the ownership of the land. Once you do, you will receive an NFT letter in which you will find the information about that piece of land.
In addition, you will be able to see the coordinates and the rarity of it. It is important to note that this does not give you ownership of the actual terrain, it only gives you ownership of the virtual terrain.
