Surgeon tried to sell X-Rays as NFT
Currently, the fanaticism for NFTs is reaching amazing levels, and not really because of the sums that can be paid, but because of everything that is believed to be possible in these digital operations.
This last case has to do with the French specialist, Emmanuel Masmejean who tried to sell an X-ray plate as NFT, and who is currently in big legal trouble.
The Guardian claims that Masmejean is in legal difficulties after he was discovered trying to sell the X-ray plate of a woman who survived the terrorist attack on the Bataclan hall in Paris in 2015.
As the data indicates, this specialist chose to seize the opportunity and generated NFT hype. The X-Ray plaza was distributed on the OpenSea stage.
It was offered for sale in the hope that, being the clinical declaration of a significant occasion throughout the entire existence of France, it would be bought immediately. The plaque fetched $2,776 in the first round.
Ended up in legal trouble
The woman whose plaque it was discovered that her clinical review was available to purchase as NFTs and filed a lawsuit suing the specialist for violating clinical privacy.
Later, realizing what could happen, Emmanuel Masmejean withdrew the publication. However, the lawsuit did not stop its course and currently must pay the person involved and his lawyer.
This discussion is just one more that is added to the OpenSea platform that recently stood out as truly newsworthy by endorsing the closure of youtubers' content that was taken and presented as NFTs. NFTs daily divide opinion in many quarters.
Such is the case in the music business after the claim that a series of Nirvana tokens, based on special footage from concerts held in 1991, will go on sale.
These specials will cost anywhere from $99 to $250,000.
