Keep in mind that this recipe has spicy touches, so you can substitute some ingredients.

Now, to start these delicious recipes for Mexican tacos al pastor in an easy way, take note of their ingredients:

meat dressing

  • ½ achiote bar.

  • 2 tbsp guajillo chili powder.

  • 2 tbsp ancho chili powder.

  • 1 tsp garlic powder.

  • 1 tsp ground cumin.

  • 1 tsp ground oregano.

  • 1 small onion grated.

  • 1 tbsp of salt.

  • 1 tsp. Pepper.

  • ¾ cup vinegar.

  • 1 cup of natural sour orange or pineapple juice.

Tortilla and complement

  • 2 kg of pork loin.

  • Corn tortillas.

  • 2 onions chopped into small squares.

  • 1 bunch of chopped coriander.

  • 1 pineapple chopped into small pieces.

  • Taco sauce.

  • Slices of lemons to taste.

Start by chopping the meat into not very thin slices and reserve them in a bowl. Then proceed in other containers to make the dressing, include all the ingredients already arranged and mix well.

Add the dressing to the meat, and spread it well, leaving it to marinate for at least 2 hours.

Once that time has passed, on a tray place two thick slices of pineapple, mounted one on top of the other, with a thick wooden toothpick, pierce them leaving the toothpick upright. In it, transfer the marinated meat one over the other and when finished, seal the structure with another slice of pineapple.

This will function as a top of meat, which we will take to the oven previously preheated to 180 ° C for 1 ½ hours.

With the browned and well-cooked meat, proceed to assemble the tacos, to do so cut along the edges of the meat top. These pieces are mounted on the tortilla, a portion of chopped pineapple, onion and cilantro are added, along with the taco sauce and a slice of squeezed lemon.

  • 45 g of pork loin.

  • 1 tablespoon of butter or olive oil.

  • 3 garlic cloves.

  • ½ cup of water.

  • Corn tortillas.

  • 1 chopped onion.

  • 1 bunch of chopped coriander.

  • Lemon slices.

  • Guacamole sauce.

To prepare it, start by seasoning the meat, which you will have already cut into cubes. Add the cumin, oregano, salt and pepper, mix well in a container and then take it to a pressure cooker without covering it with the butter.

Let the exterior brown a little, meanwhile, blend the garlic without shells with the water, mix that you will pour into the meat in the pot along with the whole orange. Once this point is ready, place the lid on it and cook for 45 minutes.

When removing the cooking meat, with forks shred the meat and reserve in a container.

Now heat the tortillas and place a portion of carnitas next to the onion, cilantro, the juice of the lemon slice and the sauce.

Among the most exquisite Mexican taco recipes, we cannot miss the fish one, a dish that hides an incredible and fresh flavor behind its simplicity.

Fish tacos can use different types of seafood, but preferably shellfish or white fish fillets, such as hake or sea bream.

These are battered fish tacos, which together with a pico de gallo and some vegetables will captivate your palate.

For these Mexican tacos with fish recipes you will need:

Breaded

  • 1 cup of flour.

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking powder.

  • ½ cup of dark beer.

  • 1 egg.

  • 1 cup of Tomatoes or red tomatoes chopped into small cubes.

  • ½ cup of green mango chopped into small cubes.

  • ½ cup of chopped onion.

  • 1 habanero pepper or chopped sweet pepper.

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Salad

  • 1 cup of purple cabbage.

Start by preparing the batter, in a bowl mix all the ingredients well and reserve.

Then prepare the salad, cut the cabbage thin and in a bowl mix with the rest of the elements, and reserve in the refrigerator.

Now, in a container, mix all the ingredients for the pico de gallo and also reserve in the refrigerator.

Prepare the fish, for this you will need the batter and a plate with the flour. Take each of the fish strips, pass them through the flour and then through the batter, covering their entire surface, and then fry them over medium heat.

Once golden, take them out and let the excess oil drain. Now all that remains is to assemble the taco with the fish, the salad and the pico de gallo on the tortilla.
