Friends return to the big screen this year
Friendsgiving has impressed all its followers with an original idea to work with this year. The release date will be Thanksgiving Day in the United States. Fathom Events is developing Friends as a theatrical proposition.
So far, we learned that it will be eight episodes with the theme of Thanksgiving that will be released in theaters across the country on November 24 and 25.
Friendsgiving will bring fans together with their longtime best friends — Ross, Rachel, Joey, Monica, Chandler and Phoebe — to relive some of their funniest moments (...) Fans will watch as Monica puts a turkey on her head, Rachel makes a curious cupcake, Ross reveals an old secret, Chandler declares his love for Monica, Joey tries to devour a whole turkey, and Phoebe exposes something curious about Chandler's canine allergy.
The beloved show was brought to theaters last September for its 25th anniversary. It premiered in at least more than 1,000 locations across the United States. To no one's surprise, it turned out to be a huge success.
Of course, this is the first sign that the group of actors is preparing something for international audiences. For now, the privilege will only be for Americans, but it is believed that they will soon return to the big screen internationally.
